FIFA 2000

Released: 10/11/99

Requirements: 100MHZ, 16 MB RAM, 160 MB HD space
Soccer has never been very popular in the United States, if only because its 45-minute halves of continuous action are unlike the frequent start-stop dynamic of pro football, baseball, and basketball. Throw in the typically low score of a soccer match, and it isn't difficult to understand the general lack of interest in the game. It has great graphics.

NFL Blitz 2000

Released: 11/11/99

Requirements: 233MHZ, 32 MB RAM, 250 MB HD space
In theory, NFL Blitz 2000 carries on the fine tradition of no-holds-barred football set by the original NFL Blitz. It keeps the same frantic gameplay that made the original a hit, yet it has new features and substantial improvements. However, it has a few major problems that make it all but unplayable. But its still a lot of fun thanks to all the 3D graphics.

A 3-D action shoot set to deliver more action, espionage and firepower than any other first person shooter on the market. The game's authentic 3D environments and scenarios will realistically reflect today's intense conflicts as players dodge bullets and pummel, toast, shred and incinerate hordes of enemies. This game is the BEST!

South Park

Released: 04/11/98

Requirements: 266MHZ, 32 MB RAM, 175 MB HD space
No surprise the game sounds pretty much the same as the show. Mostly you'll only hear isolated bits of speech from the characters as they throw snowballs, dodgeballs, and more at their foes, and that gets really old really fast. When Cartman's all but guaranteed to cuss whenever he takes a hit, you might be so inclined to turn the volume down.

Delta Force 2

Released: 11/03/99

Requirements: 200MHZ, 64 MB RAM, 315 MB HD space
Delta Force 2 offers around 45 single-player missions, including 25 sorties split between two campaigns and 20 stand-alone scenarios, in which you must prove yourself against large and heavily armed terrorist armies. In most cases, you'll work alone or with a handful of computer-controlled support teams. The mission design in Delta Force 2 is great.

Street Fighter Zero 2

Released: 04/21/97

Requirements: 133MHZ, 16 MB RAM, 125 MB HD space
So, the day finally came when the home version of Street Fighter Zero 2 arrived. I can't relly describe the feeling, especially since my local arcade refuses to buy the game. So, what does Zero 2 do to make things better? Well, I can tell you that Capcom has done an unbelievably great job. As far as I'm concerned, almost everything has been made better.

Die Hard Trilogy 2: Viva Las Vegas

Released: 03/12/00

Requirements: 200MHZ, 32 MB RAM, 275 MB HD space, 3D-Card
Like the first installment, Die Hard Trilogy 2 consists of three separate styles of play: a third-person corridor crawl, a driving game, and a first-person shooting rampage reminiscent of Virtua Cop. The developers created an all-original plot for the sequel, probably because the first game took the plots of all three existing Die Hard movies.
